real-human.ai Inc. was founded by Kris van Beever in 2025, a retired Computer Scientist, technology executive and consultant with over four decades of hands-on experience solving complex business problems involving emerging technology. Kris entered the world of computing before it was in every home and business, long before cloud, mobile, or even the thought of Generative AI technology like ChatGPT existed. What began as an early fascination with logic, systems integration, architecture and design morphed into a long successful career spent in many roles from an independent consultant, CIO, SVP of an IT Organization to most recently a senior technology consultant advising Fortune 500 companies and guiding them through moments of digital transformation,often at the intersection of technology, operations, and human decision-making.

Across roles in systems integration, architecture, mortgage technology, and large-scale advisory assignments, Kris observed a recurring theme: as tools became more powerful, the gap in understanding grew wider. Executives, professionals, and small-business owners increasingly faced technology that was both essential but opaque. This gap became especially pronounced with the rise of Generative AI. Kris recognized several years ago that AI literacy, governance, and human accountability were no longer optional, they were becoming mandatory.

The concept of a small firm like real-human.ai Inc. emerged out of this realization. Built on my internal principle of "simplexity" ,making the complex understandable without oversimplifying, we exist to bring clarity in a world where confusion and hype dominate the AI landscape. Kris created this organization designed to give people (the humans in the story) and organizations the guidance and perspectives of an AI Realist, an experienced guide, someone who recognized early and has tried to understand the complexity of AI technology, respects its risks, and can translate its capabilities into practical, responsible action while helping others succeed.

The philosophy is straightforward, in fact it's our AI prime directive, Human-First, AI-Next, & Human-Last. AI is just another tool, a new software application (set of applications), a very complex and powerful software system, not a replacement for human intellect.
